Real Housewives Who Were Only There For One Season

The Real Housewives franchise has always been a series dedicated to showcasing opulent lifestyles, boisterous personalities, and classic reality show feuds. When the franchise became a hit and spawned spin-offs, fans quickly began to pick their favorite cast members and tuned in to see what shenanigans their elected favorites would find themselves in. Alas, there have been many cast members of the various shows that have only appeared on a single season.

Whatever the reason happens to be, these former housewives either vanished or would at least not be featured within the main cast. With that being said, let’s take a look at the wonderful housewives who felt that appearing on one season was good enough for them, shall we? Let’s do this thing.

10 Kimberly Bryant (RHOC Season 1)

Kimberly Bryant was one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Orange County series; however, she would only be featured on season 1. Bryant now resides in Chicago with her family and prefers to keep her life on the down low rather than broadcast her everyday life for everyone to see. Though she did make guest appearances on the 3rd and 4th seasons of RHOC, Bryant would never return to the main cast.

9 DeShawn Snow (RHOA Season 1)

With season 14 of RHOA well on its way and all the things that have changed since the previous season, fans have seen the return of series original Shereé Whitfield after three years. However, DeShawn Snow, another RHOA original, was only featured in season 1. Snow has, of course, shown up on the 14th season as a guest, but her days as a main cast member are over, at least for now.

8 Katie Rost (RHOP Season 1)

Katie Rost appeared on the first season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Known for being wrapped up in a bit of controversy surrounding her husband’s sexual assault allegations involving a cameraman of the show, Rost was fired by Bravo and would only make brief guest appearances after her firing. Though Rost has expressed interest in returning to the series, only time will tell if she will return to the main cast.

7 Cindy Barshop (RHONY Season 4)

The Real Housewives of New York most popular cast member is arguably Bethenny Frankel, a cast member who fans of the series love. However, the series also introduced the world to Cindy Barshop, making her debut in season 4 of the series. After season 4 wrapped, Barshop was never featured on the show again. Barshop has gone on to open a health spa catering to women in New York, with some interesting procedures.

6 Carlton Gebbia (RHOBH Season 4)

Featured in the 4th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Carlton Gebbia departed the show after said season. Another former cast member involved in a bit of controversy involving the assault (allegedly) of her maid, Gebbia has remained (other than that) under the radar and out of the limelight.

5 Amber Marchese (RHONJ Season 6)

Amber Marchese was only featured on The Real Housewives ofNew Jersey’s season 6 before making her exit from the series. Marchese has gone on to appear on another reality show, the competition-based Marriage Boot Camp, and is a two-time breast cancer survivor. Unfortunately, Marchese revealed in 2016 that she suffers from Lyme disease. To say the former cast member has had a nasty little run of luck would be an understatement.

4 Peggy Tanous (RHOC Season 6)

Peggy Tanous called it quits after RHOC's season 6. Though not entirely absent from the show, as Tanous was a guest on season 7. According to Us, Tanous gave this explanation as to why she left the show, "After months of negotiation and soul-searching, I have declined Bravo's offer to return to the show. I just felt in my heart that… the time it would take me away from my family was just not a healthy path for me."

3 Claudia Jordan (RHOA Season 7)

Talk show host Claudia Jordan departed from The Real Housewives ofAtlanta following season 7. However, this was not the former Miss Rhode Island Teen USA’s only foray on TV. Jordan was also featured on such shows as the Donald Trump helmed CelebrityApprentice as well as others, making Jordan a reality TV veteran.

2 Jules Wainstein (RHONY Season 8)

Jules Wainstein was featured for the first and only time on RHONY's season 8. After a nasty divorce, the former housewife decided to leave the spotlight. According to eonline.com, a source close to Wainstein had this to say about her departure from the show, "She is a great mom who is just focused on her kids right now.” The source would further add that Wainstein is, "trying to take the high road" regarding divorce drama.

1 Kim Fields (RHOA Season 8)

If you're a child of the '80s or '90s, odds are you’re familiar with the work of Kim Fields. Appearing as Tootie on The Facts of Life and being featured on the Queen Latifah fronted sitcom Living Single, Fields was a staple of the small screen in the aforementioned decades. Fields would go on to star in the 8th season of RHOA before making her exit from the series. Fields is currently starring in the Netflix sitcom The Upshaws.
